Jupiter is easier than Saturn, and feels more like home. For the first few days, I wasn't even sure anything was happening. Saturn is visceral, immediate, and starkly contrasted with my usual modes of being.
Jupiter just feels like a pretty good day. A day in which I know I'll accomplish a lot, and somehow be higher up the mountain by the time I turn out the lights.
Day one and two ran together a bit - I did the work right before sleep, and immediately upon waking. The following day was one of the most productive I've had in months, and I found myself relishing my job in ways I haven't, well, ever. I knocked out small projects and even interacted with IT with a relative amount of ease. I envied offices and watched the downfall of an adversary with a disconcerting level of joy.
Day three brought an unexpected promotion, and with it, a considerable increase in compensation.
I will not credit three days of low-level magick with a promotion that was actually in the works for weeks before I knew about it.
Really.
I promise.
(Extra offerings, though? Fuck yes. Do I look that clueless?)
Anyway, for the most part, the last three days have been calm but busy. The immediate effect of the rituals is a light buzz, a little warmth, not much else. It has been suggested to me that the lack of immediate intensity is perhaps a result of the fact that I am more comfortable, in general, with Jupiter-related stuff than with Saturn. (This corporate, upwardly-mobile, power-hungry, salary-obsessed thing is definitely part of my personality; it's just been dormant lately.
Noticeable change in affect, though, between the Saturn phase and the Jupiter phase has been acknowledged by those not aware of the project, which is always a nice confirmation.
For the record, though, I am salary now, with the ability to work as much as I want! Because no overtime will stain my records! Jupiter likes to work! This could be... bad?
If it's been a month and you haven't heard from me, send in the hippies. That is all.
